“4 Days for Ukraine”: Very important signing Twinning Padua– Kherson


On 22nd April, in the context of the event 4 Days for Ukraine, the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Padua organized, in the Building of the Province of Padua, the important signing of the twinning agreement between Padua and the region of Kherson.

The President of the Province of Padua Enoch Soranzo, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine Marco Toson, the Deputy Governor of Kherson Yevhen Ryshchuk and the President of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce Gennady Chyzhykov were present to this fundamental moment for the always-closer relationships between Italy and Ukraine. This twinning represents an extraordinary demonstration of the aims of the event 4 Days for Ukraine, which were underlined also during the Business Forum and the B2B meetings.

Once the signing ceremony ended, the Ukrainian delegation, guided by the Consul Marco Toson, moved to Prato della Valle for the Top Runners press conference, during which, at the presence of Leopoldo Destro, the President Assindustria Sport, there were introduced the most important runners, as the President Gennadiy Chyzhykov, and the beginning of the event Padova Marathon.

At the end of the Marathon’s presentation, the Consul Toson and the Ukrainian delegation took part in a conference about European projects in the Conference room of the Sheraton Hotel in Padova. The rest of the day was dedicated to other cultural activities such as the traditional Ukrainian dance and theatre show “Scarpette d’oro” in the auditorium of Modigliani Art High school.
